Howdy readers! I have missed you! However, my sweet daughter needed some attention and so did my healing process. So, here we are..... during this time I was able to observe the world around me and not be so focused on results, analytics, sales, relationships, etc. I was able to truly watch things in and around my life unfold.
Today’s topic was “birthed” because I started to notice something. KARMA...... she has struck in the lives of some who would have otherwise used their energies to destroy others. It’s funny how that works, eh? I’m not here to talk about other people though. There is a point to the madness!
People often ask me why I am so calm and reserved when it comes to people’s indiscretions towards me. Of course, most people know I grew up in the church so they attribute it to the “turn the other cheek” syndrome. Don’t get it twisted— I will tell you about yourself. Catch me on the wrong day! However, these days I truly allow the universe to work its magic.
We all have karma due to us, depending on how we live our lives and treat others. I want what I receive in this life to be something my kids can be proud of. I want to be able to show them a strong woman that is capable and worthy. This lead me to start inspecting what and how I was doing. It has been a rigorous and scary realization. I had to dig deep within myself and discover things about ME that I didn’t always want to see.
So, when people ask me how I deal with mean spirited individuals now. I simply respond with, “ I let Karma do her job”. I can promise you that every single time karma is due YOU WILL GET BACK WHAT YOU GAVE OUT. Call that woman you do like a ho, you may find yourself in some ho activities. Call that lady on the subway fat, you may find yourself 50 pound overweight later. Call someone a home wrecker, you might be the one with the home wrecked. Steal from the church and find yourself broke. Cut someone off at that intersection and you might not have a car to cut someone off with anymore. You get the point!
All the ways we try to sabotage someone else are literally a reflection of what we are thinking and feeling inside about ourselves. Karma works in very different ways for everyone. However, we ALL get it and there is no escaping it. My advice today— learn to change your mindset in regard to who you are, what you want in life and how you treat the world (and people) around you. I would love to see this world full of positive karma and happiness so lets change what we’re looking at everyday. It is easy to be hateful, delusional, extreme........ but what does it cost you to remain that way?
